1. T-Shirt Maxi Dress
Transform a plain t-shirt into a chic maxi dress with just a few cuts and knots. Start by cutting off the sleeves and neckline of the t-shirt. Then, cut a small slit on each side of the bottom of the shirt. Finally, tie the two sides together in a knot to create a gathered effect. You can leave the dress as is or add a belt to cinch it at the waist.
2. T-Shirt Tunic Dress
For a shorter dress option, turn a t-shirt into a tunic dress. Cut off the sleeves and neckline of the shirt. Then, cut the shirt straight across just below the armpits. Use the bottom section of the shirt to create a ruffle by cutting strips along the bottom and stretching them out. Attach the ruffle to the top section of the shirt using a sewing machine or fabric glue.
3. T-Shirt Wrap Dress
Create a wrap dress out of a t-shirt by cutting off the sleeves and neckline. Cut a slit down the center of the front of the shirt, stopping at the bottom. Cut two long strips from the remaining fabric of the shirt. Attach one strip to the inside of the left side of the slit and the other strip to the inside of the right side of the slit.
